Has anything unexplainable happened to you ?
How open are you to airing your stuff?
If there was an online Tell The Truth game, are you willing to participate?
I think the question that comes to mind is what incentive is there to disclose anything to a stranger who really doesnt matter to me. what do I get out of it?
I think like tattoos and piercings, its an addictive rite.
I didnt really have a known purpose for blogging about this, other than I wonder how many people have witnessed things they cant explain, how many people hear voices and dont tell, how many people have seen a ghost or knew who was going to call when the phone rang…..
and have no intention to ever mention it to anyone out of fear of looking looney.
If you could visit a blog that divulged all kinds of truths that would be interesting ( not unlike celebrity gossip, but thats so boring and over-done. yawn.) what would you want to hear?
I personally dig true tales of “your never going to believe what I saw” .
Its true, you never look at the person who tells you the story quite the same way again.
In my opinion, its a good thing.
Theres an intimacy created between strangers when they have experienced similar things that matter, and then share it, nomatter how embarrassing - scary - unbelievable it is.
I am addicted.
Once I have admitted something in truth that seems crazy or unbelievable, even if its a theory i believe or something I have done, it frees me a little bit.
I have become someone who can say anything to anyone at anytime, with less fear of how I will be taken, and less fear if I will be accepted.
And one cool thing that happens as a result of being the weird one…
when people do experience something out of the ordinary,
and that feeling of anxiety because they need to tell someone is there,
I am an acceptable ear.
