intentionally creating the body

I read a book a while back that spoke about the diet and what our bodies repond to electrically.
It centered around a diet of mostly raw vegetables and fruits, with little to no grain and the idea of processed foods was an absolute NO.

Meat was considered bad, but not because of a judgement on the person but because it was a food too heavy and acidic for optimal health.
Acidifying the body weakens it.

I find it interesting that more people today are eating a raw diet (fruits and vegetables ) than would ever accept what they did not grow up with.

I can speak for myself personally that when Im eating a predominantly raw diet, my skin looks better and I feel better in general.

My opinion is that whatever is in your body this moment is what is more likely to eaten today and tomorow, mostly because it calls to it more of the same.
If I am eating alot of sugar, I can stop eating sugar out of pure willpower but the craving for it wont die until my body has changed significantly enough to not be calling for more of it.
Sugar is easy to understand, but i think where people get tripped up is when the idea of meat or bread is considered an addiction, its much too easy to blow that off as improbable.

I dont know of anyone in my circle of friends that purposely looks for and refuses to buy foods with MSG, aspertame, or ingredience that they cant pronounce.
There is an overwhelming belief that our government and those in the FDA will tell us what is bad for us.

What I do for me is ask myself if the people selling their products have any incentive for me and my family to be healthy.

Since I rarely find that incentive, the next consideration is whether or not I have felt good after eating it before, or anything like it before.
Never ask if you just want it, but if the idea of eating it AFTER you have eaten it feels good.

I always want sugar.
After large quantities of it I feel terrible, but I never used to think of that before I consumed it.

I have been contemplating more and more the two ideas that I have to reconcile:

1. thoughts create our reality, so what does it matter what we eat?

2. specific foods really do feel better, even if my thoughts that I create my reality are stronger and want chocolate to be the bestest food in the world.

So if certain foods do seem to make a difference when I truely do believe that we create our reality, what is that telling me?
Keep in mind that I do not subscribe to the idea that Im thinking carrots are better than icecream, I dont. Its whatever your body requires in the moment.

My theory is that my desire to create a body that is more light and less physicality changes the cravings and desires I have for certain foods.
Its a natural gravitation, dependant on your intention.

If your intention is to just be healthy (so with that intention I will eat cookies for breakfast), but your idea of healthy is to age appropriately and part of that is that its acceptable to have memory loss at 70, and have aches and pains, then eating certain foods will also be attractive to you as well.

And maybe its not just the intention, but all the little details that go along with the intention (ask yourself what your definition of your intention actually is !)…
I mean, do you just want to get by and hopefully avoid aches and pains?
Do you want heal stuff that snuck in before you paid attention to how you were feeling?
Do you want to thrive and maybe halt the aging process?

Meditating on what we want, rather than on whats already here, is key to knowing whats right for us to eat in any moment, and can apply to all other areas of life as well.

I dont claim to know whats right for you to eat, but I definately disagree that it is safe to assume the FDA or our government has our best interest.

I want to dive into the topics of what specific foods do and how that feels, for anyone who is sensitive-  jump right in.
I’ll be writing more about focus and what foods exaggerate certain skills.
I intuitively know we will get to a point where eating becomes less and less an issue, and we will be doing it as more of a ritual, and less of a nourishment as we refine the body.
